Changes to Lym Nats blog and Facebook pages

A Happy New Year and let’s hope and pray that 2022 will improve on 2021!

For some time Brian Matthews and others have been posting interesting updates and links to off-site websites such as Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust, Butterfly Conservation, Wild New Forest etc on our Facebook page. These are only seen by the relatively small percentage of our membership who have signed up to Facebook.

From 01 January 2022 such links will appear summarised as a weekly posting on the Lym Nats blog www.lymnats.org.uk There anyone can see them and the Facebook pages will revert to just an exchange of sightings and photographs between members.

Some members have already signed up to receive blog updates by email, but if you have not done to it can be easily done by scrolling down to the very bottom left hand corner of the blog where there is a subscribe to Posts by Atom link.

This change will make the LymNats blog more than just a vehicle for our walks reports and notices for forth coming walks and talks, so if you have any contributions for the blog please send them by email.

With best wishes for 2022
