This week's talk: 06 Jan 2019 The Sargasso Sea - A Suitable Case for Conservation

HOWARD ROE is a member of our Society and a former Director of the National Oceanography Centre in Southampton. Since retiring he has been involved in conservation efforts in the Sargasso Sea. Why is this area so important? With increased public awareness of the state of our seas and oceans after Blue Planet II shown last year on BBC TV, this should be a very interesting talk.
